Happy Harvest

Last night was our largest harvest yet: 9 pickling cucumbers, 2 straighneck yellow squash (although one of them looks like a crookneck ...), 6 sugar snap peas, 1 green bell pepper, 2 sweet 100 cherry tomatoes.


Another view of the pile of good eats we pulled from the garden. Tonight we plan to make our first batch of refrigerator pickles, since we definitely have enough cucumbers saved up over the last week.

The pepper, tomatoes and peas became a small little snack salad, with a tiny touch of Italian dressing, to eat during a car ride last night. Very, very tasty.
